A poster I've made for the contest dedicated to the World Blood Donor Day.
Blood can be associated with something scary and unpleasant, it's a light anxiety when you've cut your finger or the goosebumps when you're watching a horror movie and there's a blood fountain coming out of someone's wound.
I'd really like to balance out those associations with something on the polar opposite of this spectrum - extreme cuteness! In this illustration blood is symbolised with the cats - warm and soft, they make sure everything in your body functions right. And when donated, they share their strength and help those who need it to feel well again.
I hope a person who sees this silly poster will smile and be a little less scared
to donate blood!
